WHAT IS DISASTER RECOVERY?
Disaster recovery is the process of regaining functionality to an organization’s IT infrastructure after an event such as cyber attack, natural disaster, or business related disruptions. Disaster recovery is an important aspect of business continuity.
Disaster recovery relies on computer processing in a secure, off-premises located not affected by the disaster. When servers go down in one location, data needs to be recovered from the second location where the data is backed up. Our data center is the ideal location because it is local and disaster resistant. We are one of the only data centers in Oregon not located on a fault line.
There are a variety of disaster recovery and preparation methods, so your disaster recovery plan will be tailored to your business’s unique needs.
